PRACTICE
Justin Monroe brings substantial trial experience to Todd & Wakefield. Prior to joining the firm, Justin spent nearly six years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for King County. During that time, Justin handled all types of cases ranging from misdemeanors to sex crimes to homicides and tried over fifty cases to verdict.
Justin also spent two years in the Civil Division of the Prosecutor’s Office where he acted as general counsel for the Code Enforcement section of the King County Department of Development and Environmental Services. In that role, he advised the department on the creation and implementation of policies and programs and represented it in various proceedings in administrative, state, federal and appellate court.
Since joining Todd & Wakefield, Justin has focused his practice on defending a variety of matters including commercial litigation, construction and personal injury related disputes.

Justin was born in Seattle, Washington. He lives in Edmonds with his wife and two children. He is an avid golfer and sports fan.
